GlassShop Distributor raises the standard for wholesale and distribution systems by providing unlimited pricing options on a Windows based system utilizing the latest in database and business management technologies. We designed the system for the automotive glass industry, and it provides many of the options that you need in order to service your customers. Some of these include:

Customer Contracts

The GlassShop Distributor System possesses the ability to create a variety of contracts for customers, customer lists, and for all sales. Contract criteria can be based on one or more of the following characteristics and the system will determine which contract will give your customer the best price. Some of these include:

• 4 phase quantity discounts,
• percentage off NAGS list by NAGS prefix,
• Cost plus pricing by the lot or serial number,
• cost plus percentage pricing by the lot or serial number,
• single item "specials" with minimum quantities, - customer zip code,
• customer route,
• GL Sales number,
• and others.

Customer Lists

Within this framework, you can create customer lists that you can apply to a contract. This is designed to give management flexibility when negotiating contracts.

Customer Allowances

The GlassShop Distributor System will also maintain, if desired, a record of customer allowances. That can be set up to be incremented for each item sold. You could set this part of the system to benefit your clients the same way airlines provide mileage points to travellers.

Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics

The Distributor System is a direct, real-time integration with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics. With Dynamics you get one of the top mid-level accounting packages in the world. We have programmed our Distributor System in the same language as Dynamics, giving us access to all Dynamics data. As soon as an invoice is created in GlassShop Distributor, it will instantly show up in Dynamics, as it is the SAME data. We have created Distributor as a stand-alone system that operates under its own dictionary. It runs in parallel with Dynamics, not underneath.

System Requirements

Generally, we would require the Distributor system to operate on a Windows 2000 Server with either XP or Win98 clients. It is designed to work easily in a LAN, but we expect that you may need to operate with a wide-area network. We have various strategies in place that will enhance the speed of the system over the WAN, but ultimately, in the long run, we recommend utilizing a Citrix server environment.
